“Hi and welcome to CDTV.” These were the opening words of television studio presenter Scarlett Welling.

In September 2009 students from Charles Darwin School worked for four days with Cre8ive Schools to produce 90 minutes of live TV that was broadcast to 1,300 viewers around the school.

This was a project that ticked all the boxes." Enthused headmaster Rob Higgins. 'It was educational, creative, engaging and also a great deal of fun! Students were really challenged to put together such a remarkable programme in so little time.   They learned to work under pressure and take real responsibility, as well as picking up new technical skills.”

Watch the entire show by navigating to the CDTV media scroller on the right. Below you can see selected programmes from the broadcast, leaf through photographs from the week and read the Access All Areas magazine made in conjunction with CDTV.
