Year 10 Student Voice at Charles Darwin School have taken up the Blastbeat challenge as one of their charity fundraising initiatives. Their enthusiasm is infectious and they are currently working on their roles within their company, Musical Mindz Enterprize (spelt with a “z” as they intend to win the “prize” for their chosen charity!). The main challenge for the MMC is to find the best original music talent in our local area and showcasing them. We hosted our own show back in April to a full house at Darwin. Out of the six acts that performed the Callisto were selected by a panel of industry professionals to play in front of 2,500 strong crowd in the regional final. The winning act receives a trip to the world final to compete with other regional winners for the highly coveted prize of a record deal with Blastbeat.tv.Records.
